How we handle your information

The short version: this website doesn’t track you, doesn’t set cookies of its own, and only collects what you choose to send us.

What this site collects

Nothing, until you contact us. Browsing the site doesn’t create an account, set a cookie of ours, or run analytics or advertising trackers.

The service-area checker works entirely on your own device. The ZIP code you type is compared with a list that came with the page; it isn’t sent to us or to anyone else.

When you send a quote request, we receive only what you type in:

  • your name and phone number, and your email address if you give it;
  • your ZIP code;
  • the kind of work, how soon you need it, and your description of the problem.

How we use it

To call you back, to quote and schedule the job, and to keep our ordinary business records. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it for advertising.

Services that handle it for us

The quote form is delivered to us by a form-processing service , which passes it on by email. If you book through an online booking page , you’re using their service, and their privacy policy covers what you give them.

A few things on these pages are loaded from other companies, which means your browser connects to them and they receive your IP address:

  • Our web host , which delivers the pages and keeps standard server logs.
  • Unsplash, which hosts some of our photographs.

The typefaces are stored with the site, and the service-area map is a drawing rather than a live map, so no font service or mapping service is contacted.

How long we keep it

Quote requests and job records are kept for as long as we need them to do the work, honor the warranty, and meet our ordinary business and tax obligations.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email office@sidehillplumbing.example or call (970) 555-0187, and we’ll take care of it.

Children

This site isn’t aimed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and the date below.
